High Storage Racks (SILO) – This system is particularly effective in maximizing available warehouse space. SILO-type warehouses are built using specially designed shelves that form the load-bearing structure of the entire warehouse. Automatic stacker cranes move between these shelves. Thanks to this solution, construction costs are significantly reduced compared to building conventional warehouse facilities. The storage racks in such facilities are not only used for storing goods or supporting stacker cranes but above all, as they constitute the load-bearing structure, they bear all the stresses and forces associated with the building’s operation.
